Experiential design goes beyond traditional aesthetics and functionality, seeking to elicit an emotional response and forge strong connections between users and the shared experience-this connection in the form of a memory. Throughout my career as a designer and team leader I have worked closely on a number of projects that have centered around creating a unique experience.

One such project was for First Aid Beauty. For the launch of Hello Fab, an intimate influencer event was hosted on the rooftop of the NOMO in SoHo. The onsite visuals helped compliment the look and feel of the new line, showcasing the ingredient profiles and bright color palette of the packaging. Activations like a Superfood bar helped reiterate the fresh ingredients in a fun and impactful way.

The key to creating a successful experience is establishing a hook that ties back to your marketing goal. Branding design around experiences should help spark emotion and engagement, leading to a stronger connection between your audience and your brand. It is all about the details, and creating moments that spark a reaction and leave a memory with your audience.
